Here is an easy and quick way to make a book cover!

Step 1: Materials

Materials: a book, scissors, tape, a piece of paper.

You can play with the book cover material: reuse a paper bag with cool pattern or water-proof material such as Tyvek.

Step 2: Fold

You don’t need to measure anything, just eyeball it. First, lay the book on the paper. Leave a width that you feel like and fold it over on the first edge, and do the same thing on the other edge.

Step 3:

Cut off the extra.

Step 4:

Slide the book into the paper you just folded.

Step 5:

Cut off the excess that’s too long for the book. (You only need 1–2 inches for it.)

Step 6:

Make a cut for the book spine on both sides of the book cover. The width is the same as the thickness of the book.

Step 7:

Fold the top and the bottom to fit the size of the book and tape them down.

Step 8:

Do the same on the other side, and you have quickly made a book cover for your book
